We have found that the best method of
charging our customers for small jobs, is on an hourly rate, this method
is fair to all of our customers as you only pay for the time it takes
to complete the work.
The rate applies to all investigating, repair, servicing and small
installation work. We provide competitive domestic job prices to all of
our customers.
Hourly rates small jobs 1-4 hours
There is a minimum charge of one hour on all jobs thereafter work is
charged in 15 minute increments. Our normal working hours are 8am-5pm
Monday to Friday we will always try and give you an estimated time for any work
before we start.
- Monday – Friday 8am-5pm £98.40 first hour
- Additional Quarterly hours £20.40
- All rates include VAT
Collection Fee
When carrying out a repair, we might have to collect a part not
stocked on our vans, when this happens we will charge a collection fee
base on the time and distance we have to travel to collect the part.
This fee will be the same as our normal hourly charge, but is billed in
15 minute intervals. No more than 60 mins will be billed for this service.
All collection fees will be agreed with yourself and the engineer
before any charges are applied. In some cases it might be better to book
another appointment if the job is not of an urgent nature.
Materials
Materials supplied by us will be charged at cost plus 25%.
Keys
If we need to collect and/or return keys from a managing agent or
other third party, this will be charged at £20.40 per 15 minutes with a
minimum charge of £40.80 including VAT
Payment
Payment must be made in full by debit card, credit card, cash or bank transfer upon completion of the work. VAT receipts will be sent from our office for
all completed work. Any non-present customers (landlords/third parties)
will need to provide debit/credit card details when booking.
Estimates
We will provide written estimates for planned installation work
costing more than £500 Inc VAT. Where complex designs or surveys are
required to create an estimate, there will be a charge of £90 to cover
our costs which will be refunded against the cost of the work if the
estimate is accepted.
Miscellaneous
Any parking/congestion charge will be added to the final invoice when
applicable. All prices are including VAT which is set at the standard
rate of 20%.
